In case you're deciding between itch.io & CoGDemos
Itch.io builds are a little more troublesome for me to update since I have to wrestle with editing stuff out of my author test version, BUT that also means your progress/saves will get impacted less since it'll generally get less updates. Unless I encounter a bug that really ruins the experience--then I prioritize updating both builds at the same time.
If you're not following the forum thread, here's a cross post from today I did:
I patched a minor bug for the fes w/ Calla path if u do everything/nothing & back out of shopping without having bought anything. Hopefully that didn’t create new problems, the coding got confusing lol
But I liked writing for what happens if u do that instead of forcing u to buy something. Have some unresolved issues, Summoner. It’s good for ur character arc. (or just don’t)
This won’t be in the itchio builds until the next catastrophic bug so uhh just indulge in capitalism. It’s an annoying process to zip multiple builds, my apologies.
On the flipside, I edited a bit more janky text and typos. Tossed that into the patch. One step closer to having a reading session without sighing to myself every few seconds :D!
I'd say it's an addition of ~300 words of content (I don't know the exact number), so it's nothing crazy. & if you're not playing the fes w/ Calla path, then pretty much nothing of import was missed (just polishing ig).
The Summoner
You are a bird in a gilded cage. Fight to help change the world or choose not to. Either way, nothing can stay the same.
